Descripción

Security +, is a project developed in conjunction with the Industrial University of Santander and its research groups in the area of Industrial Engineering.

The objective of this project is to take advantage of the boom in the private security sector and improve the selection process through the use of technologies that allow simulating risk environments, allowing entities providing private security services to identify whether personnel are trained or not to fulfill their functions.

All of the above arises from various factors that enhance the value of these initiatives, such as the potential of the private security sector and the improvement and updating of it, in conjunction with the integration of technology in surveillance processes, with which it seeks to reach beyond the initial transmitter radios, as it has shown to the inclusion of camera devices, drones, biometric systems, electric scooters and other devices that allow them to perform functions more efficiently.

Within the project, it is proposed to design a simulation system through the use of software and hardware, which allows to evaluate the capabilities and optimize the selection process of personnel interested in exercising private security functions in Colombia. That is, by creating a virtual reality interface, and its respective hardware, different tests are created that allow to evaluate the private security guards, in the soft skills, which are the most used when exercising their role.
