Our History

Each project has been born from a sense and a need, we invite you to know how this has led us to be the successful company we are today.

Our History

We are a company that was born from the ideas of a dreamer more than 20 years ago, our founder Carlos Andres Escalante is a design engineer from a family of recognized doctors, who throughout his professional life in Europe always visualized the creation of a company capable of creating everything, it was as well as in 2016, He decides to embark on a journey that continues today.

In search of boosting the economic growth of his country and in a commitment to local products, he returns to his homeland Colombia where he decides to create his technology company focused on biomedical devices and prosthetics, this is where Human Bionics was born.

In its beginnings, Human Bionics had only one work table in a shared Coworking space and while the company began to constitute difficulties were close, the grandfather of our founder began to suffer from the affectations of Parkinson’s, but this far from discouraging him encouraged him to look for solutions that would improve the quality of life of his relative, from technology and in contact with specialists developed the first product of Human Bionics, Anda, an application that through auditory stimuli, boosts the production of dopamine in the brain reducing Parkinson’s affectations and improving the quality of life of people who suffer from it.

Seeing the extraordinary results of its creation, I patent the idea and participate in the Heroes Fest 2016, where in search of publicizing the benefits and impacting the lives of many people, he received recognition occupying the first place as well as seed capital, which allowed him to acquire the first facilities for the company, this also opened the doors for the Lab4 + event held in Santiago de Chile and where he also received recognition as the third most innovative company in Latin America, which is why it receives an invitation to CEATECH, an event held in Japan to connect technology companies.

The experience in Japan completely influences the direction of the company, not only because it allowed us to establish relationships with other Japanese companies that in the future became customers and allies of the company, but also, because there our founder observed the variety of prostheses on the market and also the scarcity of digital products such as Anda, that provide solutions from the technology of the Internet of Things (IoT), it is then that the company changes its focus and decides to specialize in IoT products.

From this moment the company begins to grow, developing a variety of digital platforms for agribusiness and commerce of other companies that began to involve their businesses from the digital world, such as Maxganado an application for livestock management or Coffi Club an application for the fair commercialization of coffee.

Subsequently, the pandemic hits the world economy, but this again motivates our founder and the team of dreamers who were joining the company, such as engineers, designers, and developers, who manufactured controlled disinfection and sterilization robots through mobile applications.

It is then that the development of products for other companies, as well as Human Bionics projects, have allowed him to continue growing his team, his facilities, and even his scope, when in 2022, he was invited by the government of Japan to establish a headquarters in the facilities of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University, under the goal of connecting with more Japanese companies.

Today the Human Bionics team is very happy to continue growing, helping, and impacting people’s lives, through the timeless tool of technology, so in the future, you will find more paragraphs in this article.
